Each member is encouraged never to be part of any division within the body of Christ. United in mind and heart with all members who are following Christ.

Christ, of whom We are part, is not divided. He is of one mind. So let all of His people be together and in one agreement. Let us be like-minded, having the same love, one spirit and purpose.

We are to do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility count each other better than ourselves. Looking out for the interests of each other, not just our own.
